About Jeff Fisher

Jeff Fisher is a leader, business owner, and founder of the Ride the Wave Foundation, a mission-driven organization committed to building an all-inclusive, modern campus for individuals experiencing homelessness. As the owner of NCK Equipment, a process equipment company serving industries such as food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals, Jeff combines his leadership expertise with a heart for making a difference. The inspiration for the Ride the Wave Foundation came from a life-changing moment when Jeff felt compelled to approach a beat-up van parked outside a convenience store. Inside, he met Daryl, a man in need of encouragement and hope. That interaction sparked a wave of purpose, leading to the creation of a foundation dedicated to empowering lives and inspiring others to take meaningful action in their communities. The foundation’s mission is powered by multiple initiatives, including the Ride the Wave podcast, Jeff’s WaveMaker book, and future training programs. These platforms share powerful stories, practical strategies for personal and professional growth, and actionable ways to make a difference. The podcast, which has grown to 100,000+ subscribers in just six months, provides a unique mix of business insights, inspirational stories, and a call to action that resonates with listeners across the globe. Through a combination of storytelling, leadership, and community-driven solutions, Jeff is leveraging donations, grants, and revenue from the foundation’s projects to make the vision of the all-inclusive campus a reality. As a podcast host and accomplished business leader, Jeff brings energy, authenticity, and actionable inspiration to every conversation, making him a powerful voice for change and an engaging guest for any podcast. https://ridethewave.org/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtYUoT8G-PGFl3E23gj0pmgVideo link

Even a psychologist can have Limiting Beliefs 4925 #308 #inner voice #inner thoughts #podmatch

About Betsy Holmberg I am a psychologist who went into a deep depression when my husband left me. Medication really helped in the early times, but three years later when I wanted to titrate off, I found my negative, self-critical thoughts completely overwhelming. I felt broken. The bummer was that I was a therapist. I knew what therapy entailed, and I knew it wouldn’t help. In desperation (really, I wanted to be a better mom to my son), I went to the literature to find out what was going on with me, and what I learned blew my mind. It is a total paradigm shift for the field. There is great excitement around this topic. When I shared it with Psychology Today, they asked me to start blogging. New Harbinger Publications reached out to turn it into a book (release date: June 1). I’m excited to get the word out to people, because this shift has greatly improved my mental health, and I’ve watched as it has done the same for those around me. You know the idea that a fish can’t tell you about water? The water for our field is that we are our thoughts and beliefs. That our thoughts and beliefs reveal who we are. Neuroscience proves that we are not. Many of our thoughts are automatic, and they come from a primitive thought network (the default mode network) that talks at us all day. It focuses on survival — how to keep you in the clan so that you don’t get kicked out (being kicked out means death). This is why it compares you to everyone around you and points out all the ways you don’t measure up or aren’t as ‘good’ as others. Thoughts like, “I am worthless,” “I am a failure,” “I am not good enough,” and more all come from this network. When we listen to these thoughts, believe that they are us talking, and buy into them, it can lead to depression, anxiety, low self-worth, and more. The beauty is that identifying and separating from these thoughts can lead to greater happiness, self-esteem, well-being, and more. Thank you for taking the time to read my story! https://betsyholmberg.com/

Helping Women Tell Their Stories 4925 #309 #podmatch
About Julie Marty-Pearson Hi, I’m Julie! I am a Podcaster, Speaker, Coach, and Advocate who helps women share their stories through podcasting. I have my doctorate in Organizational Psychology and worked for over 15 years in accreditation, assessment, and institutional research in Higher Education. After the pandemic in 2020, I decided to start my own coaching business, something I had dreamed of since completing my doctorate in 2012. Now, I am passionate about helping others share their stories through podcasting. I am also a dedicated Fur Mom, lifelong animal lover, pet enthusiast, and all-around animal advocate. I started The Story of My Pet Podcast in 2022 about my passion for pets and to highlight inspiring tales of pets and their parents from around the world. The purpose of the podcast has expanded to be a platform for advocacy and education in all areas of animal welfare, rescue, fostering, and adoption. It is now a Top 5% Podcast focused on helping animals in need. In 2024, I launched my second podcast, Podcast Your Story Now, to support and inspire more women to use podcasting as the medium to share their stories. Relaunching in 2025, the podcast features my own stories in business and podcasting, as well as the journeys of other female and non-binary podcasters, while providing practical advice on podcast guesting, launching a podcast, building community, and speaking to grow your business. I also created the Women’s Podcaster Party Networking Community for women and non-binary podcasters and podcast guests. Whether you’re a seasoned podcaster, an aspiring guest, or just podcast-curious, the Women’s Podcaster Party is the ultimate networking space designed for women and non-binary individuals who want to connect, collaborate, and grow in the podcasting world. Each month, I host two high-energy networking events where podcasters, guests, and speakers come together to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build meaningful connections. These events are open to all but are specifically designed to uplift and support women and non-binary voices in podcasting. https://www.juliemartypearson.com/ https://www.facebook.com/jmartypearson

Watching Sarah Rise, 32425 #39 #Autism #Support #Guidance #podmatch

About Jennifer Celeste Briggs Jennifer Celeste Briggs’ memoir, Watching Sarah Rise, is a deeply personal and transformative story that would make for an inspiring and insightful podcast interview. Her journey, rooted in unconditional love and resilience, showcases how a parent can turn hope into action by creating an individualized program to help her autistic daughter thrive. Jennifer’s pioneering approach to using the Son-Rise Program and adapting it into the Sarah-Rise program demonstrates the power of play, community, and meeting children where they are. Her story is not only a beacon of hope for parents of neurodivergent children but also a testament to the impact of grassroots, family-driven interventions. A podcast featuring Jennifer could explore themes of parenting, innovation in autism therapy, and the importance of rethinking societal norms about neurodivergence, making it both heartfelt and enlightening for a broad audience. https://www.watchingsarahrise.com/

CrossFit & Two AED Shocks #306 32525 #life #death #health #podmatch

About Jeff Luther Let’s get vulnerable! I’d love to bring a powerful and deeply personal conversation to your audience. A couple of years ago, I collapsed at a CrossFit gym in front of my 16-year-old son. No pulse. No breath. Two shocks with an AED and eight minutes later, I came back—but life as I knew it was gone forever. The diagnosis that followed changed everything: my health, my fitness, and, most of all, my beliefs. I’ve traveled across the U.S. searching for the answers I wanted to hear but was mostly met with the ones I didn’t. Ultimately, after extensive research and deep self-reflection, I learned to rebuild my life—30 seconds at a time—on my own terms. Through that journey, I discovered something profound: our beliefs don’t just shape our future, they shape our present.

If your audience is ready for an unfiltered conversation about overcoming life-altering events that are completely out of our control, I’m your guy. If you want to dive deep into what someone thinks about in the literal process of death—and how to turn that experience into fuel for transformation—I can bring that raw, real, and life-changing perspective. It’s always more fun to go off script and see where the topics take us but here are some topic ideas if you need them: • 5 lessons I learned from dying• Success is in action, not completion• Why it’s important to ask deeper questions for connection• Is that true? The stories we tell ourselves. Let’s talk about resilience, mindset, and the stories we tell ourselves—and how to rewrite them for the better. I’d love to be a guest on your show. Let me know if this resonates!

The Intentionality Gurus

BEST MOMENTS: GUIDE TO LIVING TO YOUR FULL POTENTIAL 31725 #126 #potential #intentionally #podmatch
https://youtu.be/TheIntentionalityGurus31725

Candace Pollock explores how the past holds powerful clues for your future. We talk about a simple but powerful exercise that can help you spot your deepest motivators, untapped strengths, and–on the flip side–the hidden self-sabotaging patterns that keep you from living to your full potential. So, if you’ve ever wondered why some goals light you up and why you keep hitting roadblocks with others, this episode is for you. This podcast will lead you to the Boot Camp which will be revealed in our next podcast… [Per Todd Henry, author; “It isn’t enough to just do your job anymore. In order to thrive in today’s marketplace, all of us, regardless of our role, have to be ready to generate brilliant ideas on demand. The Accidental Creative teaches effective practices that support your creative process.”] [Jon Acuff, also an author on this subject; “Acuff suggests that we tend to think of thoughts as something we have, not something we can hone, and that realizing we have control over our thoughts is empowering. “] [“Martha is a passionate and engaging teacher, known for her unique combination of science, humor, and spirituality. Her recent book, The Way of Integrity: Finding the Path to Your True Self, was an instant New York Times Best Seller and an Oprah’s Book Club selection. “]

What is Success? 31725 #305 #authenticity #genuine #podmatch

https://youtu.be/AvoidtheMaze31725

Who is Bill Heinrich: Success isn’t always what it seems from the outside. I speak from experience; I found success at a very young age. I was living in one of the most beautiful places on earth and from the outside everything looks perfect, but something was always missing. Surrounded by material success, with everything in place by normal standards, I found myself dissatisfied and nothing seemed to fill the emptiness inside. No matter how much money I made or how successful I was I never felt whole. Painfully aware that something was lacking, I continued to try to fill the empty space I fell inside. Over the course of time, this feeling got worse, never better, no matter what I did. I remember, it was almost 30 years ago that I was so miserable I walked out the door to change my life and I never looked back.

Fight Free Parenting™ 31925 #38 #behavior #accomodations #coaching #podmatch

https://youtu.be/AvoidtheMazeYouAreSpecialParenting31925

About Sue Donnellan I’m Sue, a military wife, mom of four (including triplets), entrepreneur, best-selling author, once reluctant parent, and a reformed yeller. As a Parent Educator, I provide support for parents of kids ages 2 to 20! I specialize in working with military families, parents with multiples….and all moms and dads who want to get positive behavior changes from their kids. My journey into parenthood was not one of immediate grace but of learning, unlearning, and real transformation. Early on, I recognized that those with the most to learn often become the most impactful teachers. This realization fueled my two decades of dedicated work, during which I’ve had the privilege of mentoring hundreds of exhausted parents across the globe. My approach to parenting, rooted in both personal and professional growth, led me to author the book, Secrets to Parenting Without Giving a F^ck. This work encapsulates my philosophy that effective parenting doesn’t have to involve conflict and stress but can be an experience of learning and love. Building on this, I created the Fight Free Parenting™ Course, alongside a variety of resources aimed at nurturing happy, harmonious families. True success in parenting, for me, is measured not just during childhood — but in maintaining a joyful, respectful relationship with your children as they grow into adulthood. My mission is simple yet profound: to help parents and children enjoy being around each other, fostering connections that last a lifetime.

The week of 9 February 2025

My week started working my side job where I Rep & Service a computerized system in one of our major hospitals that has various locations.  As you may have guessed by now if you are following newclevelandradio.net I may be going on 75 but I am working as if I were 25 or 50.

In addition to this side job, I have been working on my coaching program which I am offering at the price of $25 per zoom session.  I have heard rumblings in the Coaching Circles that I am under cutting others in the business and believe me that is not what I am doing.  I am reaching out to the millions who are scrambling to make a buck and may be in need of coaching to help them take the steps forward to make their lives a little better.  I’ve been there and I know how difficult it was for me to pay out $100, $150 or more for coaching and mentoring and even though the individuals I worked with were amazing, the majority of them wanted more for me than what I wanted for myself.  In fact, at times, I felt like I was spending my money so they could make more money, and the vicious circle began to grate on me.

When I chose to become a life coach my plan was to reach out to individuals like me. Individuals who felt invisible as themselves and kept trying to be someone else. As I was paying to metamorphosis into someone else I realized I really wanted to be my unique self, and I needed someone to help me be me.  A special thank you to a very special friend, coach, mentor, and podcaster, Candace has provided me with the opportunity to see the FORKS in the road.  It is my aim to provide that for you if you are looking for a coach.

In the meantime, I believe all the podcasts we provide at newclevelandradio.net may assist you in finding your voice as you listen in on the various journeys we share.    Additionally, if you are looking for guides and suggestions on how to be your happiest please visit https://newclevelandradio.net/yesican-a-personal-coaching-journey/u-2-can-create-new-habits/

This week was a short week of podcasts.  As you probably know I am recovering from a broken shoulder and humerus.  Although I am healing the process is slow and I am struggling with the therapy, but I am complying.  The timeline for full recovery is 6 – 18 months I am at almost at 2 months.  However as uncomfortable as I maybe I will take the baby steps required to be the best version of myself, even if that means cutting back at times.

This is what we recorded and produced this week.

This week in podcasting on newclevelandradio.net I was not as busy as some weeks; I intentionally took Tuesday off to ward off the POLITICAL VIBES in the air.
Monday, November 4th was a very busy day beginning with The Intentionality Gurus with Candace Pollock. After taking a hiatus, this summer Candace returned to NCR in October with her podcast. I learn so much from this bi-weekly podcast which I produce and sit in as the second chair. I share my vulnerable side.

Avoid the Maze you are Special is a Spin-off of Avoid the Maze. However, in this series I am reaching out to Parents, Teachers, Caregivers, Therapists, and individuals who have either been diagnosed with some form of special needs assistance or supporting someone with special needs. I understand the role of being a parent and wife with someone who has special needs and if I can reach one person and provide them the opportunity to think positively I have met my goal(s).
